About Wilderness Christian Assembly:

1. Where is the camp located, and how do I get there?

2. What kind of facilities & accommodations are available?

3. How big is your camp?

5. Is this a year-round camp?
Our summer camps operate from the end of June to the beginning of September. We do, however, offer most of the year-round rental packages. Guests are welcome to rent camp facilities during the  fall and spring. Click here to read more about rental packages. Back To Top.

6. What kind of wildlife is around the camp?
The area surrounding WCA is used by a wide variety of animals. Deer, turkeys, wolves, bears and foxes are all known to frequent the region. Smaller animals such as squirrels, beavers, chipmunks, rabbits, gophers, ducks, geese, eagles, hawks and other small birds can also be seen. It is also home to a flourishing mosquito population. 8. Is there a pool?
No, there is no pool. We swim daily in the pool at the Kaliseum, so if you're coming to camp, don't forget to bring your swimsuit or swimming trunks! Back To Top.

9. Is there internet access?
No. There is no internet access for campers. Back To Top.

10. Is there phone access?
No. Campers are not allowed to use the phone. Back To Top.

11. What kind of meals/snacks do we get?
We offer a wide variety of well balanced meals which vary according to age groups. Usually, fruit or vegetables are for snack. Back To Top.

13. Can I stay with my friends in the cabins?
Sure you can. Just remember to write their names in the right spaces on your registration form. Back To Top.

14. Are pets allowed?

15. Can I bring my cell phone, iPod or discman or other electronics?

16. Is it okay to bring alcohol or drugs?

17. Can you accommodate kids with allergies and special diets?
Yes, absolutely. Please make sure you let us know what we should expect before you arrive. Back To Top.

18. In what ways are parents able to be in contact with children?

19. Can my kid call home?
Sure, as long as it's been organized to happen beforehand, or if your child's cabin leader deems it appropriate/necessary. Back To Top.

20. Can I call my kid?
You can if you’d like to. However, we usually advise that you don’t, just to help campers get the most out of their camping experience. Back To Top.

21. Can I volunteer while my child is at camp?
Yes. We always welcome volunteers, although sometimes having your parents being at camp can be a little distracting for the kids. Back To Top.

22. What happens if my child is homesick?
We will do our best to take the camper’s mind off of it. In extreme situations, we will allow campers to call home with the help of our staff. Back To Top.

23. Is there emergency personnel on staff?
During the summer months, we have a Health Officer on site at all times. This person is trained in First Aid and CPR. Back To Top.
